Chason’s racing career started in 2021 when he was just ten years old. This upcoming season will be his 3rd year racing. He has experience running 125cc, 270cc, & 600cc micro sprints. Chason is known as “the pineapple kid”. He has been wearing pineapple clothes to the track for years and everyone started calling him the pineapple kid and it stuck!
His love for the sport started when he would get to go to the track to watch his dad (Nate Hauck) run 600’s. His family has been involved with racing since the 90’s. Nate used to run 270s & 600’s. His grandfather even owned a late model. It all started for Chason when his dad asked him if he wanted to race…. that was an obvious YES! They then started to build a 270 together.
A goal for his racing career is to run a midget at the Chili Bowl. A bucket list track of his is Bristol Motor Speedway in a 410 sprint car.
Chason and his family own the 270 micro sprint! He also runs Mike Pott’s PA Micro Midget #4!
