Jake Karklin
Jake is the 5th generation driver in his family. He grew up watching his family race, and that is where his love for the sport began. It helped him realize at a very early age that he was going to work as hard as he could to make his dream of becoming a race car driver a reality.
Jake started racing quarter midgets when he was 8 years old in North Carolina. He was off to a great start winning 11 of his first 15 races. He continued quarter midgets for a few years, until he finally got the itch to move up into sprint cars.
In his first year of Sprints he won the championship with the CNBS Series. In 2019 he received the Rookie of the Year award, as well as the Championship for Carolina Sprint Tour.
In 2021 Jake and Lauren relocated to Geneva, NY and Jake ran with the Empire Super Sprints- a 360 Series and he won the Rookie of the Year award.
In 2022 Jake & his fiance Lauren moved back to her hometown, better known as the heart of Sprint Car Racing- Central Pennsylvania. His first full year here he competed with the United Racing Club-picking up a handful of Top 5’s .
In 2023 Jake started his first full season running 410 Sprint Cars in Central PA.
Jake is a super hard-working, committed, and focused driver. He gives racing his all, and never gives up. He is thankful to have the chance to race, and is committed to making all his racing goals come true.
